About the Role
The Hayner Hoyt Corporation is seeking entry-level Laborers and Carpenters to work on commercial construction projects. This full-time position offers a team environment, continual training, mentoring, and opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Performing site preparation
- Building demolition
- Traffic flagging
- Installation of temporary protection
- Hanging doors and installation of door hardware
- Installation of millwork, cabinetry, and countertops
Requirements
- Must have an active driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to take direction well and work within a team environment.
- Demonstrate dependability to work a regular schedule and extended nontraditional hours, including evenings and/or weekends.
- Ability to read, write, and understand directions and follow standard operating procedures.
Skills
- Previous experience in the commercial construction industry
- Knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools involved in the commercial construction field
- OSHA 10
