About the Role

The Software QA Tester will plan and execute test suites for Info-Tech's products within an Agile development process. This role is crucial for ensuring applications meet business and user requirements, identifying, and resolving system issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure testing activities align with business requirements and system goals, fulfill end-user needs, and identify/resolve system issues.
• Evaluate, plan, design, develop, and deploy test strategies, plans, and cases based on requirements for new applications or enhancements.
• Perform functional, regression, system integration, back-end database validation, mobile/scalability, cross-browser compatibility, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Liaise with software developers to resolve bugs and deficiencies found during testing.
• Analyze test results to identify and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
• Produce reports and documentation for all test efforts, results, activities, data, logging, and tracking.
• Promote and share knowledge of application testing best practices.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a College Diploma or University Degree from an accredited institution and eligible to participate in a co-op program.
• Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional time management.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and diligent.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to understand technical systems and concepts.
• Include an unofficial transcript with resume.
