About the Role
La Scuola International seeks experienced and passionate Preschool / Early Childhood Education teachers to support and implement the daily program in accordance with the school's policies and philosophy. The role involves setting educational goals, preparing the learning environment, planning curriculum and projects, assessing student progress, and communicating effectively with staff and parents.
Responsibilities
- Set educational and developmental goals for children, both as a group and individually.
- Prepare the indoor and outdoor environment daily to support educational objectives.
- Plan and execute daily curriculum and long-term projects.
- Assess and document group dynamics and individual developmental progress.
- Communicate effectively with staff and parents, including providing a weekly bulletin describing classroom activities and learning outcomes.
Requirements
- Familiarity and ability to plan curriculum within the Reggio Emilia Approach, Language Immersion models, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Curriculum framework or inquiry/project-based learning.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that prioritizes reflection and fosters growth.
- Open-mindedness, creativity, and curiosity in learning with colleagues and students.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) with the ability to present in public.
- Strong time management skills, including consistent attendance, punctuality, meeting deadlines, and participation in school life.
- Ability to find joy in working with all children and differentiate learning.
- Dedication to being an active, enthusiastic member of the La Scuola community.
- Ability to work well within a team in a collegial and collaborative environment.

- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Final candidates will need to pass fingerprint clearance, a physical exam, and provide a recent negative TB test and other immunization records.
