About the Role
COBS Bread is seeking a passionate, inquisitive, and eager Sales Assistant to provide an exceptional customer experience and share their enthusiasm for baked goods with loyal customers. This role offers opportunities for growth, community connection, and fun within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Get to know regular, loyal customers.
- Merchandise product and execute marketing campaigns.
- Keep the bakery clean.
- Assist with production as needed.
Requirements
- No experience necessary, just the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Takes pride in providing a great and personable experience for customers.
- Has a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
- Is reliable, self-motivated, and enjoys learning new skills.
- Is a team player who is approachable and likes working with people.
- Relevant retail experience is a strong asset.
- Experience in handling cash, credit card, and debit transactions is a strong asset.
- Continuous standing/walking for all tasks.
- Constant use of both hands.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 7.5 kg, reaching below shoulder level, bending and turning.
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 kg, pushing, pulling, crouching, bending and reaching above shoulder level.
