About the Role
Exentec Hargreaves is a specialist UK engineering and delivery business with over 150 years of experience in high-integrity, safety-critical HVAC and specialist ventilation systems. The company has contributed to major UK infrastructure projects and serves the Energy and Decommissioning, Defence, and Transport sectors.
Responsibilities
- Assisting duct fitters with installation of ventilation and ductwork systems
- Loading, unloading, and moving ductwork materials and equipment around site
- Measuring, cutting, assembling, and positioning duct sections under supervision
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards
- Ensuring materials and tools are available for installers
- Following site health & safety procedures, RAMS, and PPE requirements
- Carrying out general labouring and manual handling duties as required
Requirements
- Good practical and manual handling skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of construction site safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- CSCS Green card
