About the Role
Foundry Robotics is seeking its first dedicated marketer to oversee brand presence across website, events, social media, and press. This is a builder role with significant impact on product and company culture, reporting to the VP of Business and working closely with the CEO and GTM team. The role is 100% in-person in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Develop positioning and messaging for AI robotics researchers, manufacturing engineers, defense program leads, and investors.
- Create core narrative assets including sales decks, one-pagers, case studies, demo scripts, and technical content.
- Manage the brand system across all platforms, including agency output.
- Implement analytics, conversion tracking, and SEO for the website and other channels.
- Own website content and publishing cadence with technical team support.
- Develop and execute social media strategy for LinkedIn and X, including content creation and reporting.
- Manage events end-to-end, including trade shows, customer dinners, and demo days.
- Develop foundational inbound marketing engines, including lead capture, routing, nurturing, and CRM management.
- Deliver monthly scorecards on marketing spend, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
Requirements
- 6+ years in B2B marketing with hands-on execution experience.
- Experience owning brand and product marketing, including positioning and messaging for sales teams.
- Managed external agencies (web, PR, creative, or events) with strong outcomes.
- Successfully run a website project end-to-end with a design or development partner.
- Hands-on events experience, including booth planning, execution, and lead follow-up.
- Strong writing skills.
- Demonstrated taste and a clear point of view, with the ability to push back on creative work and internal decisions.
- Ability to build credibility with engineers through direct interaction.
- Familiarity with hardware, robotics, industrial automation, or deep tech marketing is a plus.
- Familiarity with defense or government-adjacent buyers is a plus.
- Proficiency in HubSpot, Marketo, or Salesforce is a plus.
- Basic Figma skills for concept communication are a plus.
- Experience managing a junior marketer or contractor is a plus.
