About the Role
Kal Tire is seeking 310S Automotive Service Technicians to perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on a variety of vehicles. This role is eligible for a recruitment and retention program with an incentive of up to $5,000 in the first year.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
- Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing expertise and supporting their skill development.
- Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks.
- Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks.
Requirements
- Hold a valid 310S Automotive Service Technician license.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Bring a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
- Experience with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs across a wide range of vehicles.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada.
- A Canadian Criminal Record Check may be required.
