About the Role
The Service Technician role is responsible for the repair and maintenance of Club facilities, specializing in either Fitness Equipment or Facility repair. This role ensures the highest function of member-facing and associate areas, reports on work progress, and communicates with Club Operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform service and repairs across multiple locations.
- Utilize maintenance software to obtain service requests.
- Prioritize work according to department mandates and plan schedules for efficient club visits.
- Create service requests to track and repair all issues.
- Support specialist teams (AV / Installation) for larger projects.
- Report on work progress and completion.
- Apply service notes, costs, and status updates to work orders.
- Order parts and materials through the Purchasing team and external vendors.
- Identify needs for additional support and communicate with management.
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide clear understanding of progress.
- Initiate updates with Club General Managers and support staff on outstanding issues.
- Document needs or support required with Service Coordinators and Purchasers.
- Update RFM on scheduling, external service support, and larger issues.
- Practice safe working habits at all times.
- Follow all health & safety best practices during service and maintenance.
- Obey all traffic laws and practice safe and professional driving habits in company vehicles.
