About the Role

The Growth Manager will work directly with 2B Living’s Growth Leader, playing a pivotal role in new-business opportunities. This high-trust, high-ownership position requires bringing structure, judgment, and follow-through to a fast-moving growth environment, helping to build the operating system for future expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Own the operating cadence for active growth opportunities from initial engagement through signed agreement and handoff.
  • Maintain a disciplined and accurate CRM, ensuring clear economics, ownership, next steps, timing, and follow-up for all meaningful opportunities.
  • Coordinate proposals, presentations, financial analyses, underwriting inputs, and market information to advance opportunities.
  • Manage complex deals by coordinating internal stakeholders across operations, accounting, leasing, maintenance, onboarding, legal, and leadership.
  • Build repeatable templates, workflows, and AI-enabled systems to enhance the speed, consistency, and scalability of the Growth function.
  • Prepare the Growth Leader for meetings with clients, brokers, investors, and partners by providing concise briefs, background information, property details, and outstanding commitments.
  • Attend key meetings and property tours, capturing decisions and commitments, and driving follow-through with minimal direction.
  • Maintain relationship maps of owners, brokers, investors, referral partners, and clients to ensure consistent engagement.
  • Help create a structured post-close relationship program to support retention, portfolio expansion, and referrals.
  • Draft and coordinate routine external communications, identifying conversations requiring senior relationship ownership.
  • Assist in evaluating investment priorities for 2B Living by market, property type, and client segment.
  • Organize market intelligence from meetings, tours, brokers, clients, and internal data into actionable recommendations.
  • Track performance across growth channels, including pipeline quality, conversion rates, source productivity, sales-cycle timing, and deal economics.
  • Identify patterns and opportunities to inform growth strategies and market expansion.
  • Ensure signed business transitions to onboarding with complete context, including commitments, client priorities, property details, economics, risks, and key relationships.
  • Create smoother internal handoffs to enable operating teams to build client relationships from a position of knowledge and trust.
  • Bridge the gap between deal closure and the delivery of the promised client experience.
  • Begin owning selected smaller opportunities from introduction through close as judgment and experience develop.
  • Represent 2B Living at broker events, industry gatherings, property tours, and other relationship-building activities.
  • Develop the ability to own a defined segment, market, or business line within the Growth organization over time.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a high-ownership role involving sales operations, client service, business development, account management, real estate, finance, consulting, operations, or a similar environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex workstreams without losing details or momentum.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong comfort with data, basic financial analysis, and business economics.
  • Advanced comfort with modern productivity tools, CRM systems, Google Workspace, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Bay Area based, with the ability and willingness to travel locally for meetings, events, and property tours.
  • Real estate or property management experience is helpful, but exceptional judgment, relationship skills, and operating ability are more important.
