About the Role
We are looking to build out our team with a Senior Associate who will focus on a variety of strategic and operational initiatives on the New Verticals Central Ops pod. You will lead the scoping, go-to-market, and iteration of cutting-edge product features to help DoorDash improve order quality and selection across our Convenience, Grocery, Alcohol, and Retail businesses. Your work will be highly visible, and involves partnering with the Machine Learning, Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data to drive business decision-making.
- Talk to customers, unpack their feedback, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Own and deliver on improving key metrics.
- Create quarterly and annual plans aligned with product capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing existing product offerings.
- Improve delivery quality.
- Lead cross-functional work streams of Engineers, Data Scientists and Designers to develop best in class product features.
- Own problems end-to-end.
- Raise your hand to solve ambiguous problems.
- Motivate and empower teammates.
Requirements
- Familiar with SQL.
- 1-3+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, technology, banking, food & beverage, or high-growth startups.
- Solve problems from first principles.
- Resist "this is how it's always been done" thinking.
- Completed Bachelor's Degree.
