About the Role
Walmart is seeking a dynamic and experienced Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee the predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area. This role involves leading a team of technicians to ensure efficient and sustainable building operations, providing a safe and comfortable environment for associates and customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area.
- Lead a team of dedicated technicians.
- Ensure buildings operate efficiently and sustainably.
- Provide a safe and comfortable environment for associates and customers.
- Travel approximately 50% or more within the region.
- Work directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs.
- Work directly with different vendors and contractors.
- Perform reporting and analytics.
- Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses to uphold good standing with relevant authorities.
- Participate in training programs to ensure familiarity with the latest regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards.
- Obtain and secure all necessary permits.
- Schedule inspections as mandated by pertinent mechanical or building codes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
- Leadership skills – Able to lead, motivate, and develop others.
- Communication/Interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills – Root cause and breakdown analysis experience.
- Customer service skills.
- Maintain Mechanical Contractor license in state of employment.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- PMP Certification.
- Lean Six Sigma.
