About the Role
Four Seasons Hotel Austin is seeking a Restaurant Chef to join our dynamic Food & Beverage Team. This Department Head level position reports to the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef, managing the kitchen team to ensure product quality consistently exceeds guest expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the kitchen team to ensure product always exceeds expectations of the guest.
- Oversee services of Ciclo, Live Oak and Room Service in accordance with production requirements and quality standards.
Requirements
- College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of five years of previous experience as a Sous Chef in a culinary/food & beverage line, supervisory, or assistant manager position, preferably in a high-volume hotel, restaurant, or luxury hospitality environment.
- Food Handlers Certifications required.
- Work authorization in the United States.
- Flexibility in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
