About the Role
Are you a talented maintenance professional who takes pride in their work? A problem solver? Someone who likes to work within a team environment? If so, this job could be for you! The Maintenance Technician skilled requirements within the apartment community include HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting, Electrical/Appliance, and Machinery repairs. Most importantly is the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC repairs, cleaning, and replacements.
- Conduct plumbing repairs, replace parts, and perform installations of sinks, toilets, and faucets.
- Execute carpentry repairs and installations of doors, shelves, countertops, and locks.
- Perform drywall/plaster repairs and painting.
- Handle electrical and appliance repairs, including lighting, wiring, power circuits, and replacing switches and lamps.
- Repair and maintain machinery such as chillers, belts, pumps, and fans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property.
- High School Diploma/GED (3-4 years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements).
- May require a valid driver’s license depending on property needs.
- Computer and smart phone literacy required.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- May be required to work weekends - Saturday and Sunday.
