About the Role
Contribute to shaping the future of sustainable shipping while respecting the environment. Seeking a Manager, Crewing with strong experience in the maritime industry for a stable position in a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Supervising crew coordinators in their day-to-day functions
- Planning and appointment of personnel to vessels in accordance with CSL procedures, agreed terms & conditions of employment as per CBA’s and specified experience/ qualification requirements
- Crew change and rotation planning ensuring timely relief and effective cost management
- Performing full cycle recruitment for officers and shipboard personnel
- Ensuring that seafarers’ training requirements are met
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of the company’s shipboard personnel are available and maintained within the crewing system
Requirements
- Ability to work in a unionized environment
- Relevant understanding of the maritime industry
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Excellent teamwork with ability to motivate teams
- Ability to work in a fast, dynamic environment
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
