About the Role
The Customer Entities team provides the foundations for the customer's experience by managing core system components like accounts, customer identity, and address information. You will enhance the addresses product with features such as address verification.
Responsibilities
- Enhancing the addresses product with features such as verifying address information.
- Solving complex design and technical challenges in the UK utilities market.
- Processing tens of millions of meter readings daily.
- Feeding data into a machine learning pipeline for consumption modeling and prediction.
- Adapting Kraken to improve other utilities like water and broadband.
Requirements
- General interest in technology and problem-solving.
- Diligence and thoughtfulness.
- Experience/expertise in Python.
- Experience/expertise in Django (or equivalent web framework).
- Experience/expertise in Domain modelling.
- Experience/expertise in HTTP and REST APIs.
- Experience/expertise in writing robust and fault-tolerant software.
- Experience/expertise in Celery and async processing.
- Experience/expertise in Postgres.
- Must have the right to work in the country of application; visa sponsorship is not offered.
