About the Role
As the Video Editor, you will transform raw footage into high-impact video content, focusing on YouTube, promotional, and social media deliverables. You will manage a Junior Video Editor and support live race weekend coverage with fast-turnaround content.
Responsibilities
- Complete assembly and high-retention editing of weekly YouTube videos.
- Reformat and crop primary assets into high-performing short-form content for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
- Craft high-impact intro hooks and refine video pacing to maintain viewer attention.
- Deliver complete sound design, dialogue mixing, and music selection.
- Integrate motion graphics, kinetic typography, CTA cards, and color grading.
- Execute reactive clipping and editing during live race weekends.
- Manage media archiving.
- Line manage a Junior Video Editor.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio showcasing high-performing YouTube content, long-form storytelling, and fast-turnaround live or high-energy sports coverage.
- Motorsport experience is a plus.
- Highly organised, open to feedback across draft revisions.
- Driven to pitch creative ideas while hitting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Intermediate skills in Adobe After Effects
- Strong fundamentals in audio engineering
- Strong fundamentals in color correction
- Intuitive grasp of comedic timing
- Intuitive grasp of visual pattern interrupts
- Intuitive grasp of audience analytics to prevent drop-off and maximise viewer retention.
