About the Role

Bitsight is a cyber risk management leader transforming how companies manage exposure, performance, and risk for themselves and their third parties. Companies rely on Bitsight to prioritize their cybersecurity investments, build greater trust within their ecosystem, and reduce their chances of financial loss. Built on over a decade of technological innovation, its integrated solutions deliver value across enterprise security performance, digital supply chains, cyber insurance, and data analysis. We invented the cyber ratings industry in 2011. Over 3500 customers trust Bitsight. Over 600 teammates are dispersed throughout Boston, Raleigh, New York, Lisbon, Singapore, and remote.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute a strategic territory plan across the UK, South Africa, and Benelux to maximize retention, expansion, and upsell across Bitsight's largest enterprise accounts.
  • Serve as the primary strategic advisor to senior executives and key stakeholders, positioning Bitsight as an essential partner in managing cyber risk at an enterprise level.
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying committees and procurement processes typical of large enterprise organizations.
  • Articulate the business and technical value of Bitsight's product offerings to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Establish, build, and maintain C-level and senior executive relationships across each assigned strategic account.
  • Accurately forecast all deals monthly and quarterly to leadership, with a high degree of precision given the complexity and scale of the accounts managed.
  • Identify and articulate the strategic, organizational, and financial goals of assigned enterprise clients, and align Bitsight's roadmap and value proposition accordingly.
  • Develop and execute sophisticated account plans and multi-threaded sales campaigns for each strategic account.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Bitsight (Customer Success, Product, Legal, Finance) to drive complex deal structures and resolve escalations.
  • Anticipate and mitigate churn risk proactively across a portfolio of high-value, high-complexity accounts.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date account and contact information within the CRM for all strategic accounts.

Requirements

  • 3-4+ years of successful, progressive experience specifically as a Strategic Account Manager (or equivalent enterprise-level account management role), managing large, complex enterprise accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Enterprise accounts, including complex multi-stakeholder relationships, long sales cycles, and large contract values.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a business discipline.
  • SaaS experience is required.
  • Cyber security and cyber risk management experience highly valued.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Proven experience operating within the UK market required; experience in South Africa and/or Benelux markets is highly valued.
  • Strong track record of managing and growing strategic, top-tier accounts within a portfolio, as distinct from broader-based account management.
  • Advanced territory and contract management skills, including experience with complex, multi-year enterprise agreements.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize across a small number of high-stakes, high-complexity accounts.
  • Advanced consultative and solution-selling skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in both independent and cross-functional team environments.
  • Strong executive presence and relationship-building orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to tailor messaging for C-level audiences.
  • High energy level, high degree of integrity, self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive approach to work, and confidence operating at the enterprise level.
