About the Role
We are seeking a Senior/Lead Business Systems Analyst (BSA) / Product & Pricing Consultant to collaborate with customers and implementation teams, translating business needs into scalable functional solutions. The role requires significant experience in banking and financial services, with a focus on products, pricing, rates, fees, billing, offers, lending, deposits, cards, eligibility, and relationship pricing. Lead roles will also involve facilitating customer workshops, providing functional leadership, mentoring junior consultants, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead business discovery sessions and requirements workshops with customer stakeholders.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis against product capabilities.
- Recommend scalable functional solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and test scenarios.
- Configure and validate solutions based on approved functional designs.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Technical Consultants, and implementation teams.
- Support Agile delivery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and functional clarification.
- Plan and support functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Conduct solution demonstrations and customer training.
- Support knowledge-transfer activities.
- Identify and manage functional risks and dependencies.
- Build strong customer relationships and provide consultative guidance.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to delivery best practices.
- Lead customer workshops and discovery sessions.
- Own functional workstreams.
- Provide functional direction to consultants and implementation teams.
- Mentor junior BSAs/consultants.
- Drive fit-gap and solution decisions.
- Manage functional risks and dependencies.
- Act as a senior functional advisor to the customer.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Functional Consulting, Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, or Solution Consulting.
- Strong experience in Banking / Financial Services.
- Strong understanding of banking products and pricing, including: Deposits, Lending, Cards, Rates, Fees, Offers, Relationship pricing, Billing, Eligibility.
- Experience leading customer workshops.
- Strong requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis experience.
- Experience creating: Business requirements, Functional specifications, User stories, Process flows, Test scenarios.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong customer-facing and consultative mindset.
- Enterprise SaaS implementation experience.
- Knowledge of cloud concepts.
- Agile methodology experience.
- REST API and enterprise integration knowledge.
- Data mapping experience.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience implementing banking or financial-services platforms.
