About the Role

Marsh is seeking a talented individual to join their Associate Account Executive team. This role supports senior level Client Executives, manages a client book, and focuses on growing client relationships, acquiring new clients, and delivering the firm's resources for client and firm benefit.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the project manager for the account team on large initiatives or complex accounts.
  • Implement action plans, monitor progress, and assure service meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Protect the Firm from Errors & Omissions.
  • Draft comprehensive project documents for clients, including white papers, approaches, and quantitative financial analyses.
  • Conduct research on various markets or industries to identify growth areas and trends.
  • Conduct and refine data analyses to support proposal creation and account-facing presentations.
  • Address escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage expectations, mitigate relationship risks, and escalate major issues to senior colleagues.
  • Offer technical and transactional support for complex or high-priority relationships.
  • Develop strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations.
  • Attend and participate in industry events and conferences to build a professional network and represent the Company.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience within commercial insurance.
  • RIBO license.
  • Strong business acumen including a well-rounded knowledge of general business functions, finance, and issues.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization including the ‘C’ Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines.

Skills

  • Computer literacy with proficiency in email, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software.
  • Strong customer service skills.
