About the Role
Marsh is seeking a Managing Consultant to join its Risk and Resilience consulting practice within the Strategic Risk Consulting team. This role focuses on helping clients manage risk and prepare for disruptive events by leveraging expertise in crisis management, resilience, and enterprise risk. The position offers the opportunity to work with large multinational companies and a global network of consulting colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Solve client resilience challenges by defining issues, developing options, and making practical recommendations.
- Manage consulting projects from definition to handover.
- Develop bespoke documents such as crisis frameworks, business continuity plans, cyber response playbooks, and materials for table-top exercises.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues in developing deliverables.
- Gather and analyze information through document review and client interviews to provide recommendations for improving resilience capabilities.
- Prepare concise and impactful reports, presentations, and verbal feedback for clients.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of crisis management and resilience related industry standards and good practice.
- Familiarity with key deliverables including crisis management frameworks, plans, playbooks, business continuity plans, and training/exercise materials.
- Understanding of the cyber risk landscape and its resilience challenges for organizations.
- Confidence presenting to C-suite stakeholders.
- Experience in a resilience-related field, gained either in a consulting environment or in-house.
- Demonstrable evidence of managing projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Background in research, hypothesis-driven analysis, and problem-solving.
- Ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
