About the Role
Our office, Union Square Endodontic in San Francisco, CA is growing, and we’re on the lookout for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our office! In this role, you’ll handle front office and administrative responsibilities while ensuring every patient and visitor enjoys an exceptional experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Making a positive and lasting first impression.
- Bridging the gap between customer obsession and clerical management.
- Dealing with complaints and giving accurate information.
- Making guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued during their visit.
- Welcoming patients to the dental office.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Answering all incoming calls and redirecting them or keeping messages.
- Checking, sorting, and forwarding emails.
- Keeping updated records and files.
- Keeping the front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material.
- Facilitating/coordinating other office responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- 1 year of proven experience as a front desk representative, agent, or relevant position.
- Familiarity with office machines (e.g., fax, printer, etc.).
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment.
- Must be able to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas.
- Must be able to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods.
- Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments.
- Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards.
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
- Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations.
