About the Role
As a FIDIC Engineer / Contract Administrator at Linesight, you will work with experienced teams, gain vast industry experience, and be empowered to take charge of your career progression with mentorship from industry leaders. You will contribute to business strategy and build lasting trusted relationships with teams and clients.
Responsibilities
- Act as the contract administrator, ensuring all contractual obligations under the FIDIC form of contract are properly executed and administered.
- Lead and manage the contract administration process, including notices, instructions, claims, and variations, ensuring compliance with contractual timelines and procedures.
- Coordinate closely with the client, consultant, and contractor teams to ensure alignment and effective communication on contractual and commercial matters.
- Provide clear, accurate and timely advice on FIDIC contract interpretation, claims assessment, and dispute resolution.
- Lead and attend key project and progress meetings, providing expert guidance on contract administration and performance monitoring.
- Implement and monitor key project procedures, ensuring consistent compliance with project governance and FIDIC requirements.
- Support continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing contract administration processes.
Requirements
- Proven years’ experience administering FIDIC construction contracts.
- Possess strong technical knowledge of FIDIC contract forms and their practical application on construction projects.
- Proven ability to manage contract correspondence, notices, and claims with precision and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented, highly organised, and confident managing documentation and processes across multiple stakeholders.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Education Level
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
