Responsibilities

Design revisions using Solid Edge 3D CAD software.
Support Development Team projects; exposure to mechanics, electronics, high power electrical, software and systems engineering.
Investigate product designs to meet customer requirements.
Assist with product testing (mechanical, electrical, software).
Responsible for managing short-duration projects from initial concept to prototyping to implementation.

Requirements

3rd or 4th year Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering student with a strong interest in power systems engineering.
Able to work for a 8 Month Co-op Work Term starting winter 2027 (Jan. 2027 - Aug. 2027).
Excellent verbal communication skills.
A team player who is also able to work independently under the supervision of a senior team member.
Structured problem-solving experience and exposure to Lean principles.
Quick learner.
Experience using 3D modelling tools such as Solid Edge is a strong asset.
Experience with product development testing, an asset.
