About the Role
As a CT Technologist at Madison Health, you will be responsible for performing CT and x-ray procedures to produce diagnostic images. Provides procedural-related patient care and education. This role involves 12-hour day shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine and emergent CT and x-ray procedures using imaging equipment, accessories, and contrast agents, adhering to radiation safety standards and department protocol.
- Prepares patients and exam rooms for imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and providing necessary education.
- Maintains patient, department, and hospital records, performing data entry and clerical tasks.
- Orders and stocks department supplies.
- Performs and documents equipment quality control, routine cleaning, and preventative maintenance, reporting any malfunctions.
- Provides back-up coverage for general Radiology procedures and is available for on-call duties outside of normal working hours.
Requirements
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration required.
- Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License required.
- BLS certification within 30 days of employment required.
