About the Role
Join Brothers of Mercy, WNY’s largest 5-star Skilled Nursing Facility and one of the state’s top-performing nursing homes. We are seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs to provide quality care and support to our residents while working in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Promote resident hygiene, safety, and comfort
- Assist with meals, distribute food/water, and feed residents
- Provide repositioning, transferring, ambulating, and transporting support
- Take and record vital signs, weight, intake, and output
- Document on flow sheets and communicate observations to nurses
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and postmortem care
- Perform perineal and uncomplicated colostomy care
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
- Maintain clean and orderly resident rooms and prepare for housekeeping after discharge
Requirements
- Current NY State CNA Certification required
- Ability to follow directions and provide quality resident care
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
