About the Role

We are building the financial layer of our GPU marketplace and seeking a Quantitative Researcher to own the modeling behind it. This role involves building pricing models, hedging our compute portfolio, and designing financial instruments to transfer compute risk. You will also provide market insights and define new methodologies in an emerging asset class.

Responsibilities

  • Build pricing models that dynamically set spot and term rates across GPU types and regions.
  • Hedge the compute portfolio using conventional derivatives and non-traditional instruments.
  • Design options and futures structures for customers and suppliers to transfer compute risk.
  • Act as the market read, analyzing pricing trends, tradability, and future product development.
  • Define methodologies for a new asset class rather than applying existing ones.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in quantitative research, trading, or structuring with hands-on experience building traded pricing or risk models.
  • Deep fluency in derivatives pricing and hedging (options, futures, forwards).
  • Ability to reason about instruments without liquid markets or clean volatility surfaces.
  • Experience constructing hedges for a portfolio of physical or contracted assets.
  • Expertise in dynamic pricing, building models from supply, demand, and inventory signals.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and comfort working with messy production data.
  • Ability to structure new financial products from first principles, including contract design and settlement mechanics.
  • Clear communication skills to defend models to various stakeholders and translate output into decisions.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity, incomplete data, and no established playbook.
