About the Role

The Project Manager plans, coordinates, and manages project execution, ensuring adherence to performance targets for timing, cost, quality, and benefits. This role gathers requirements, establishes plans, confirms cost structures, and oversees project execution, interacting with various teams and clients to maintain the project's critical path.

Responsibilities

  • Collects, analyzes, and understands project requirements.
  • Develops and maintains project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines, schedules, resources, and dashboards.
  • Communicates project status, requirements, and structure across the Project Management team and necessary departments.
  • Defines potential problems and suggests alternatives based on cost, time, and quality standards.
  • Analyzes project cost structure and deviations from approved costs.
  • Collaborates with manufacturing, sales/marketing, and purchasing teams in project definition, feasibility, and approval.
  • Manages day-to-day project progress, including risk assessment and problem resolution.
  • Conducts project reviews according to prescribed processes.
  • Serves as the main day-to-day contact for internal teams, clients, and suppliers on current projects.
  • Attends project planning meetings and serves as a subject matter expert on workflow, processes, capacity, and timelines.
  • Assists with implementing workflow management and reporting tools focused on quality, profitability, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Participates in cross-functional teams to develop and adapt processes, policies, and workflows for improvement.
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates employee activities to achieve goals; mentors, coaches, trains, and develops the team.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred.
  • 4+ years of previous project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (conception to completion), and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning).
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, and clients.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
