About the Role

The warehouse clerk's role is to handle incoming and outgoing rental equipment and manage the company's stock through allocations and system updates. This includes keeping reports on shipments and inventory levels, labeling goods, and maintaining the warehouse area.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers.
  • Proactively communicate order status, delays, and equipment substitutions to customers.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution process for damaged returned equipment.
  • Serve as the point of contact for drivers returning with equipment.
  • Support the Operations team to check and confirm equipment orders are complete and ready for delivery or shipment.
  • Perform Quality Control Checks on all orders.
  • Assist in locating equipment and shipping logistics.
  • Support shipping/receiving, including completing Hazmat Shipping Certification.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and inventory control.
  • Resolve internal and external customer problems.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to think analytically with a focus on problem troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal & phone).
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Solid planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to monitor inventory.
  • Ability to maintain accurate labeling of equipment.
  • Ability to fill orders or issue supplies from stock.
  • Ability to check the physical condition of supplies/inventory.
  • Ability to count materials, documents, and other items.
  • Ability to record numbers, codes, or other information.
  • Ability to use technology (PCs, scanners, etc.) to complete job tasks.
  • Must be a flexible and strong team player that can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work is performed in an office setting and in a variety of client settings with exposure to seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
  • Frequent employee and client contacts and interruptions in person and via telephone.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.
  • This is a Safety-Sensitive position.
  • Position is 10% sedentary and 90% active.
  • May include activities such as sitting, walking, standing, bending, stretching, climbing (ladder) for long periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
  • May require the ability to drive a Pine vehicle.
  • May be required to work outside normal business hours including mornings and evenings.
