About the Role
The Associate Producer will pitch stories, write scripts, and select/build elements in a collaborative team environment. This role requires a strong understanding of business news, politics, and current events, with a curious mindset and a talent for discovering unique story angles.
Responsibilities
- Pitch unique guests, stories, and segments
- Conduct in-depth research on news stories
- Write stories, guest intros, and banners
- Select news-forward elements including sound, video, and graphics to help tell a story
- Additional responsibilities based on your unique talents and abilities
Requirements
- Prior television (or similar) experience
- Strong knowledge of news, business news, politics, and current events
- Familiarity with popular influencers, commentators, and opinion makers
- Ability to work collaboratively with others under intense deadline pressure
- Ability to work independently and make smart decisions
- Willingness to listen, learn, and grow from constructive criticism
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Experience in a live control room preferred

- $67,000.00-75,000.00 annually
