About the Role
The Factory Service Lead plays a critical role in managing service operations within the factory environment. This position ensures efficient inventory control, timely processing of defective units, and smooth coordination of worldwide service activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and adjustments.
- Manage stock replenishment to support service operations.
- Handle shipping, receiving, and creation of purchase orders for third-party vendor repairs.
- Maintain and update the worldwide repair database for defective units.
- Coordinate global shipping and receiving of defective units.
- Prioritize defective units with factory service technicians for timely repair.
- Assist the fulfillment of intercompany orders for service parts from stock.
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing or service operations.
- Prior experience with inventory management and shipping processes.
- Understanding of payment terms and lead times for products.
Skills
- Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Ability to multitask, work autonomously, and proactively resolve issues.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with international shipping strongly preferred.
Salary/Compensations
- $62,800.00-$83,700.000
