About the Role

Proton is seeking a Product Manager to own the B2B product strategy for Mail and Calendar. This role involves defining product strategy, leading features from conception to launch, and driving product-led growth initiatives. You will work with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and data teams, and engage directly with users to understand their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the B2B product strategy for Mail and Calendar in partnership with central B2B leadership and other business units.
  • Identify organizational needs such as admin controls, org management, integrations, and compliance features.
  • Sequence product strategy against consumer priorities.
  • Lead features from first principles through post-launch measurement.
  • Work directly with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Data.
  • Talk directly with admins, IT buyers, and end users to build a first-hand view of workflows, pain points, and buying criteria.
  • Drive product-led growth initiatives to expand our self-serve B2B flywheel.
  • Partner with Sales on pricing, packaging, and feature requirements for larger deals.
  • Own the integration and ecosystem roadmap, including SSO, directory sync, and other tools.
  • Define and report on B2B-specific health metrics.
  • Anticipate growth ceilings and make the case for foundational investment in tooling, infrastructure, and customer engagement platforms.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of PM experience in B2B SaaS.
  • Track record of shipping features that moved engagement or retention metrics.
  • Deep B2B SaaS background with experience owning product for organizational buyers.
  • Understanding of admin and IT workflows.
  • Knowledge of how enterprise feature decisions differ from consumer ones.
  • Analytically rigorous: define success metrics before building and construct models to pressure-test roadmap decisions.
  • Ground decisions in evidence.
  • Technically fluent: comfortable designing solutions with engineers, challenging technical assumptions, and making trade-offs.
  • Experienced with freemium or subscription models.
  • Clear view of how product decisions translate to revenue outcomes.
  • Direct, structured communicator capable of aligning engineers, growth teams, and senior leadership.
  • Background in productivity software with an understanding of user habits, switching costs, and daily engagement drivers.
