About the Role
The Local Elections Manager will play a crucial role in providing high-level support, coordination, and guidance to candidates, branches, and activists across Great Britain to build on the Party's momentum and strengthen representation in local government.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor all elements of the upcoming local election elections with the Head of Campaigns and senior staff.
- Identify and improve current Party tools and resources for local branches and candidates, including specific literature for May 2027.
- Coordinate with field staff and local campaign teams across Great Britain to address emerging issues.
- Provide senior staff and Party Leadership with regular reports on ongoing progress relating to the local election campaign.
Requirements
- Experience in political campaigning and election management, particularly in council elections.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of electoral law and procedures.
