About the Role
Drive the sales of Waters' full range of products and services, including chromatography systems, mass spectrometers, software, consumables, and services. Develop and implement a territorial business plan, collaborate with specialists and marketing colleagues, and focus on understanding customer needs to design impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Maintain installed-base customer satisfaction
- Aggressively develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts
- Visit customers daily to highlight Waters solutions and assist with technical obstacles
- Build technical competency on Waters solutions and be perceived as a credible resource
- Maintain current knowledge on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and other critical business information
- Provide information to marketing team to create business development programs
- Fully utilize Sales Contact Management Tools and Applications
- Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts
- Develop business through monthly plan of action
Requirements
- 3+ years chromatography experience
- UPLC, Mass Spec, field sales and/or marketing is a plus
- Overnight travel is required and international travel as needed
