About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Patrol a retail location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, delivery areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Complete accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.
Requirements
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
