Responsibilities

  • Lead and successfully deliver client projects, ensuring they are delivered to plan and provide value.
  • Think strategically and critically to solve complex problems across a range of proposition and therapeutic areas.
  • Deliver a range of project types with varying levels of complexity.
  • Plan, design, and facilitate workshops.
  • Facilitate the growth of existing accounts by maintaining engagement with client leads and identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Lead the acquisition of new clients by pursuing new leads.
  • Lead proposals and pitches to secure new business.
  • Lead, manage, and develop consulting colleagues through effective communication and feedback.
  • Support personalized development to foster innovation and diverse thinking.
  • Line manage junior team members and assist in their career development.
  • Promote the company to enhance strategic decision making and competitive positioning through writing blog articles and attending key events.
  • Interact with external stakeholders to gain insights, stay abreast of industry developments, and develop professional networks.
  • Contribute to internal improvement initiatives to increase project efficiency, delivery rate, and profitability.
  • Shape company culture through active participation in wider projects and initiatives.
  • Drive innovation and improvement projects aligned with strategic and cultural goals.
  • Lead teams through change programs.

Requirements

  • Advanced (Masters or PhD) degree with experience in Oncology, Immunology, Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic diseases (CVRM), or Rare diseases.
  • Proven record or demonstrable ability to lead profitable projects that deliver value for clients.
  • Ability to engage with existing and prospective clients, understand their needs, and win new business by recognizing commercial opportunities.
  • Strong track record of leading new business pitches and winning work.
  • Ability to lead and develop others to deliver high-quality outputs and utilize industry expertise.
  • Ability to acquire significant knowledge to develop impactful and commercially relevant solutions for clients.
  • Ability to balance scientific background with strong commercial astuteness to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • High levels of emotional intelligence to develop effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A growth mindset to thrive in a complex and ever-changing environment.
