About the Role

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a Program Engagement Co-Facilitator to lead knowledge mobilization activities for the Housing, Outreach, Peer Support and Collaborative Care (HOP-C) program. You will support the co-development and dissemination of research findings through various engagement methods and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to ensure knowledge products are relevant and accessible.

Responsibilities

Lead knowledge mobilization activities for the HOP-C program.
Support the co-development and dissemination of research findings.
Engage in co-design sessions, participatory action projects, presentations, educational resources, digital media, policy briefs, and community events.
Work collaboratively with researchers, service providers, youth and adult lived experts, and community organizations.
Contribute to stakeholder engagement, advisory activities, participant engagement, and project communications.
Support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Encourage recovery-oriented care.

Requirements

Minimum of 12 months of lived/living experience related to mental health and/or substance use challenges.
Experience working within the youth homelessness and child protection sectors.
Experience as a service recipient.
Experience in facilitation, peer support, education, or similar lived-experience-based roles.
Basic proficiency with digital tools such as email, office software, and online communication platforms.
PC software skills, including Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
Detail-oriented, well-organized, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to function well within a cooperative, collaborative working environment.
Ability for self-directed learning and working while contributing to multiple concurrent projects.
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities, including people experiencing complex mental health, substance use, and housing challenges.
