About the Role
The UK Summer Internship programme is designed for penultimate-year students seeking a career in M&A advisory, Capital Advisory Group (CAG), or Private Fund Advisory (PFA) services. This program offers hands-on experience and exposure to high-level financial advisory work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Performing financial analysis and assisting with valuations
- Contributing to industry research
- Assisting in the preparation of confidential information memoranda and management presentations
- Preparing confidential information memoranda and management presentations
- Supporting senior bankers with business development and meeting preparation
- Participating in the due diligence and closing process
- Developing a solid understanding of M&A processes
Requirements
- Must be a penultimate year student enrolled in full-time study, with an anticipated graduation date of Spring/Summer 2028.
- Exceptional academic record
- A clear interest in building a career in Financial Services
- Knowledge of accounting and finance, along with business understanding
- Confidence with numbers and the ability to analyse data effectively.
- Strong English writing, verbal communication and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Successful interns are assertive and self-motivated, can manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and are detail oriented
- Prior experience in M&A, capital raising, or investment banking is helpful but not essential
- Not currently considering candidates who require visa sponsorship for the duration of the internship.
