About the Role
The Management Consulting (MC) Intern assists the MC practice in one of its segments, gaining experience through direction, coaching, and learning opportunities from experienced colleagues. The intern will focus on serving the firm's client base.
Responsibilities
- Assists with informational interviews and facilitation of meetings with clients during engagement process
- Assists in documentation of project requirements and business processes
- Assists in development of initial deliverables and/or solutions to client issues
- Takes minutes during meetings, and produces a meeting summary to present to clients
- Leverages templates to prepare drafts of various reports, presentations and documentation
- Utilizes research tools, databases and trade publications to develop an understanding of a client’s industry
- Assists with research for and drafting of proposals
- Assists with documentation and work papers associated with client engagements
- Performs other duties, as required
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program
- Project delivery experience, preferred
- Leadership experience, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically business / report writing
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting
- Strong analytical and basic research skills
- Solid organizational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
- Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
- Able to work in a deadline-driven environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel based on client and practice needs
Education Level
- Bachelor’s or Master’s program, with a focus in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Communications, Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Health Sciences, or other relevant field of study, preferred
Salary/Compensations
- California Range: $39.00/hr - $45.00/hr
- Colorado Range: $34.00/hr - $38.00/hr
- Illinois Range: $36.00/hr - $40.00/hr
- Maryland Range: $34.00/hr - $38.00/hr
- Massachusetts Range: $36.00/hr - $40.00/hr
- Minnesota Range: $32.00/hr - $36.00/hr
- New Jersey Range: $38.00/hr - $42.00/hr
- NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $34.00/hr - $40.00/hr
- Virginia Range: $34.00/hr - $39.00/hr
- Washington Range: $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr
- Washington DC Range: $34.00/hr - $38.00/hr
