About the Role

This role focuses on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in designated areas, requiring the ability to work independently and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning tasks independently as inducted and trained.
  • Understand and adhere to H&S requirements for personal and public safety.
  • Adhere to fixed working hours.
  • Undertake cleaning duties in areas including Bin Store and Residential Block.
  • Report maintenance and H&S issues immediately.
  • Inform the Site Manager about cleaning equipment stock levels and assist with ordering and maintenance.
  • Clean and maintain communal areas, including surfaces, vacuuming, dusting, external sweeping, and mopping.
  • Understand and comply with COSHH regulations.
  • Work within relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Attend identified and agreed training courses for development.
  • Collect waste and transport it to the designated storage area.
  • Litter pick external areas to ensure cleanliness.
  • Assist with other cleaning tasks as required, including internal tasks when directed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar environment is advantageous.
