About the Role

This field-based role requires extensive travel throughout Central London and the South of the UK, focusing on driving retail sales performance, providing training and education, and executing consumer activations within designated areas.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve agreed sales targets within designated areas, with business plans aligned to national and locally relevant in-store activity.
  • Establish and independently manage a focus door list based on sales goals and current performance, including journey planning.
  • Continuously evaluate area sales results and revise strategy based on successes and challenges.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store leadership and employees.
  • Create seasonal marketing plans with retail partners to achieve sales goals through local events, training, and strategy meetings.
  • Drive retailer beauty staff to achieve KPIs through impactful educational touchpoints and business planning.
  • Provide feedback on commercial opportunities to the UKI head office team.
  • Evaluate product stock levels during store visits and communicate needs.
  • Support and maintain visual merchandising updates according to guidelines and planograms.
  • Provide consistent feedback from store visits and training to inform future decisions.
  • Manage strategic budget decisions and ensure overall compliance.
  • Identify and partner on training opportunities with store-level leadership.
  • Coach and develop staffing agency and retailer in-store teams to become brand experts.
  • Innovate in identifying local opportunities to educate in-store teams, both in-person and remotely.
  • Conduct training on new and existing products in formal sessions and during on-the-spot coaching.
  • Lead by example during in-store selling and coaching days, demonstrating best-in-class customer experience.
  • Act as a brand advocate at all internal and external touchpoints.
  • Create positive learning environments for sales and retailer teams through in-person and digital touchpoints.
  • Foster an environment that encourages idea exchange and inspires point-of-sale staff.
  • Present confidently at retailers' conferences and educational events.
  • Support the development and creation of digital education materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and deliver eventing and experience opportunities.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities for eventing and experience in flagship stores and cities.
  • Track and share insights, results, and ROI from area activations.
  • Build relationships with agency partners to deliver coaching and training for exceptional customer experience.
  • Execute large-scale sites, local events, and area activations with excellence.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach to eventing and activations, leading on customer experience and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing and VM teams to ensure event materials are prepared.
  • Motivate, coach, and help teams succeed on the sales floor.
  • Utilize persuasive selling skills and negotiation abilities.
  • Handle multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Network and influence senior stakeholders, communicating recommendations concisely and persuasively.
  • Build relationships and demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Identify, recruit, supervise, motivate, and develop people.
  • Implement brand education and training initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in premium beauty in a managerial role with sales and education experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working across different channels of premium beauty: Department Stores, Beauty Specialists, Boots & others.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to commute within the area.
  • Willingness to travel out of the area for events or meetings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable traveling and spending 80% of time in the field/in-store.
