About the Role
LatentBridge seeks a Techno-Functional Consultant for BFSI client engagements in Tokyo. This role blends technology and business, requiring 60-70% hands-on technical work and 30-40% functional and client-facing responsibilities. You will translate business needs into AI solutions and connect clients with delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary techno-functional point of contact for BFSI client engagements in Tokyo.
- Lead client-facing discussions to understand business requirements, pain points, and technical constraints.
- Translate business/functional requirements into practical, AI-driven technical solutions.
- Partner with internal technical and AI delivery teams to design, validate, and refine proposed solutions.
- Present and articulate technical solutions to client stakeholders in clear, business-friendly language.
- Own stakeholder management across client and internal teams, ensuring alignment throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Provide hands-on input on AI solution design, feasibility, and implementation approach.
- Bridge communication between technical teams and business/banking stakeholders, in both English and Japanese.
- Support pre-sales/solutioning conversations as needed, bringing technical credibility to client discussions.
Requirements
- Proven experience working within the Banking / Financial Services / Insurance (BFSI) domain.
- Strong hands-on technical background (60–70% of the role), with the ability to engage in and drive technical solution discussions.
- Demonstrated experience delivering AI-based solutions.
- Prior experience in a techno-functional or solutions consulting capacity, ideally having transitioned from a purely technical role into one with client/stakeholder responsibility.
- Current or recent experience in stakeholder management, ideally with banks or financial institutions as clients.
- Ability to independently manage client conversations – from requirement gathering through to solution presentation.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal technical/delivery teams to shape solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both English and Japanese (spoken and written).
- Based in Tokyo, Japan, and available to engage with local client stakeholders.
