About the Role
As the capital’s largest bus operator, Go-Ahead London is expanding its in-house engineering team and introducing an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Vehicle Engineer. This is a high-impact role where you will ensure London's buses are kept running safely, quickly, and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Deliver reliable and effective vehicle maintenance to ensure a dependable service.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Must have a 'can do' attitude, be open, approachable, and comfortable working with a team.
- Must be forward-looking, flexible, and adaptable to changing business demands.
- Experience working on HGV or PCV vehicles is essential.
- Must hold a PCV licence (training will be provided if not).
- Ability to work shifts, including early mornings, late shifts, and weekends.
