About the Role
As a Nevis Solution Consultant, you will act as a liaison between Nevis security solutions and client business needs, guiding clients in making informed decisions about their security infrastructure and ensuring proposed solutions meet their requirements. You are a hands-on technology enthusiast with a strong understanding of computer networks, protocols, and Identity and Access Management solutions, comfortable with complex configurations and occasional coding.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor on Nevis security products and services.
- Understand Nevis offerings in depth, including features, capabilities, and limitations.
- Collaborate with customers and partners to understand requirements and align them with Nevis capabilities.
- Design tailored security solutions that address customer needs creatively and cost-effectively.
- Deliver live demonstrations and workshops showcasing Nevis security products and services.
- Maintain and evolve training and demo environments to ensure they are current and reliable.
- Deliver on-site technical training on Nevis products to customers and partners.
- Conduct proof-of-concept projects (PoCs), including hands-on technical work and coordination.
- Assist in preparing detailed proposals, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Provide input and feedback to Engineering and Product Management based on practical experience.
- Develop reusable materials for the Nevis community, such as blog posts, best-practice guidelines, white papers, and configuration templates.
- Exchange knowledge with customers, partners, and other Nevis professionals.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
- Have 2-4 years of solid experience working as a Software Engineer, Consultant, Software Architect, or in a similar role.
- Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of Identity and Access Management technologies and protocols (e.g., OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, SSO, LDAP).
- Possess some experience with development languages or technologies (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Spring Boot, Flutter, native Android/iOS development) is a plus.
- Have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
- Exhibit a good understanding of computer networks (e.g., load balancers, WAFs, DNS, HTTPS, SSL/TLS).
- Have a basic understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
