About the Role
Work alongside experienced consultants and architects to implement SAS solutions that help customers solve complex business challenges across data management, analytics, risk, fraud, compliance, AI and decisioning. Contribute to successful customer project delivery through hands-on technical implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment, while building expertise in SAS technology and industry solutions.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation and deployment of SAS software and solutions.
- Configure, test, and support data integration, ETL, and data engineering processes.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, data mappings, and transformation logic.
- Support system installation, configuration, and environment validation activities.
- Assist with data migration, integration, and deployment activities across customer environments.
- Create clear technical documentation, test plans, and implementation deliverables.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support defect resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with consultants, architects, project managers, and customer stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
- Support knowledge transfer and transition-to-support activities following project implementation.
- Continue developing expertise in SAS technologies, cloud architectures, and industry solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline.
- Native-level Japanese and strong business English communication skills.
- Experience working with data integration, ETL processes, software implementation or technical consulting projects.
- Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
- Understanding of data management, data warehousing or data engineering principles.
- Knowledge of Linux or Unix operating systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a project-based consulting environment.
