About the Role
This role will lead the definition, mobilization, and delivery of a strategic Global Supply & Demand transformation initiative within Trading & Supply. The Project Manager will be accountable for shaping the future operating model, driving global process standardization, developing business and investment cases, establishing governance, and delivering business value through successful implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery, strategy, and mobilization activities for the Global Supply & Demand program.
- Assess current processes, operating models, organizational structures, data, and technology capabilities.
- Identify and drive opportunities for global process harmonization and standardization.
- Define program objectives, scope, success measures, roadmap, and delivery approach.
- Develop business cases, investment cases, benefits assessments, and executive recommendations.
- Establish and manage program governance, reporting, assurance, and decision-making forums.
- Plan, execute, and control project delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and dependencies.
- Apply Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies as appropriate.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams across business, technology, and third-party suppliers.
- Build strong relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders globally.
- Drive organizational change, communications, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Ensure delivery of agreed business outcomes within approved cost, schedule, quality, and benefits targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives.
- Experience defining and implementing global operating models.
- Experience delivering enterprise process standardization and harmonization programs.
- Strong discovery, assessment, strategy, and mobilization experience.
- Track record of developing business cases and investment proposals.
- Exceptional senior stakeholder management, influencing, and facilitation skills.
- Strong program and project management capability, including governance, change control, risk management, and reporting.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and external suppliers.
- Strong financial management, planning, budgeting, and tracking skills.
- Experience delivering technology-enabled business transformation programs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and resilience skills.
- Trading & Supply experience.
- Supply & Demand, Trading, Commercial, Planning, or Supply Chain domain knowledge.
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, PDX, and Azure-based solutions.
- Experience leading data-enabled business transformation programs.
- Experience establishing program governance and organizational change management frameworks.
- Experience operating in large global matrix organizations.
- Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years' experience in IT, program, or project management.
- Proven experience delivering increasingly complex programs and transformations.
- Strong storytelling and strategic thinking capability.
