About the Role
In interdisciplinary project teams, you will undertake varied tasks in technically demanding, customer-specific software projects across the entire engineering process, based on the proven Java/JavaScript stack and AI processes.
Responsibilities
- Integrate generative AI tools into the entire SDLC.
- Conceptualize, develop, and design Java and AI applications in an agile project environment.
- Design and implement modern microservice architectures and distributed systems.
- Accompany solutions from conception to go-live.
Requirements
- Strong background in Java backend development, AI programming, and software engineering.
- Several years of experience in Java backend development of web-based, scalable systems and applications with various databases and frameworks (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate) in an agile project environment.
- Experience in guiding customers through digital transformation into state-of-the-art processes.
- Solid professional experience in developing software solutions for the insurance industry or a similarly regulated industry (e.g., banking).
- Familiarity with typical standards and business processes in the insurance sector.
- Several years of experience programming AI use cases with various frameworks.
- Interest in generative AI (GenAI, GPT, Gemini, Llama, LangChain/LlamaIndex, etc.) and initial experience in MLOps.
- Very good German language skills (at least C1 level).
- Good English language skills.
