About the Role

The Senior Specialist – Client Events is an integral part of Latham’s Events team, responsible for running a successful client events program. This role involves working with key stakeholders to determine event needs and executing client events from concept through onsite delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating end-to-end event logistics and administration, including vendor and venue management, registration sites, materials, and room/equipment bookings.
  • Developing and managing event budgets, tracking expenditures, and processing expenses.
  • Drafting and coordinating client-facing event communications and collateral.
  • Maintaining high-quality event data and documentation, including calendars, reporting, and post-event analysis.
  • Monitoring industry and competitor event trends to support best practices.
  • Promoting effective work practices, teamwork, and respect for co-workers.

Requirements

  • Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a client-service focus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in an events-focused role within a corporate organization.
  • Knowledge of event-specific systems, such as Cvent, is preferred.
