About the Role
Join Safran.AI's SW Backend team, working on production projects and contributing to the evolution of backend services with a focus on scalability and modularization, including data pipelines, databases, APIs, orchestration, and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve web applications (Python/FastAPI and JavaScript/React).
- Design, develop, and maintain backend infrastructure and automated pipelines (Python, Airflow, PostgreSQL).
- Collaborate closely with all teams and business experts to understand end-user needs.
- Ensure code quality and continuously improve best practices.
- Share expertise and help establish best practices in code quality, software development, and engineering methodologies.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of development experience.
- Previous experience as a technical lead within a development team.
- Excellent knowledge of software development best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of databases and containerization.
- Good ability to design efficient and elegant solutions.
- Good understanding of web technologies and web software challenges.
- Excellent organizational skills, autonomy, and reporting ability.
- Experience mentoring junior developers.
- Ability to undergo a security clearance procedure due to potential access to national defense secret information.
