About the Role
As a Senior Account Executive, you will manage the day-to-day operations and delivery of integrated communications projects. You will support your team in project administration, collaborate with agency teams, manage campaign production, and develop strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day delivery of creative and digital work.
- Be proactive and positive, helping to find solutions without being asked.
- Build a good working rapport with key client contacts.
- Assist in the efficient management of projects to agreed budgets and timings.
- Develop a strong understanding of client brands, businesses, and products.
- Support teams in implementing approved creative/digital routes.
- Ensure efficient production processes and timely, within-budget delivery.
- Ensure implementation of and alignment with defined studio processes for creative development, production, and sign-off.
- Implement planning and control mechanisms, including weekly status reports, cost estimates, and timing plans.
- Create competitor analysis for clients and stay updated on competitor activities.
- Liaise with suppliers or internal departments to ensure delivery of requirements.
- Obtain all specs/formats for online campaigns and create production briefs.
- Manage day-to-day client communication via phone and email.
- Attend meetings and produce accurate contact reports within 48 hours.
- Collect and appropriately file campaign results and samples.
- Support all campaign elements across own and other teams.
- Build client relationships.
- Produce client case studies for new business presentations.
- Act as a role model and support for team members, embodying agency values.
- Share expertise and previous experiences with the wider team.
- Proactively drive personal development through training and knowledge seeking.
- Show confidence and creativity in internal and external meetings.
- Demonstrate insight, imagination, and innovation in all tasks.
- Take an active, positive role in Roar’s culture, supporting marketing, initiatives, and social activities.
- Have a good understanding of Roar’s basic financial processes.
- Complete timesheets accurately and understand their importance.
- Understand agency services and capabilities, identifying opportunities for organic business development.
- Participate in brainstorms and provide research, insights, and proposals for new business pitches.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of past experience as a Senior Account Executive or Account Executive.
- Ideally, some financial services experience.
- An understanding of digital, design, marketing, production techniques, and agency systems and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills to ensure smooth workflow.
- Time management and the ability to determine priorities.
- Good interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship management skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions and resolve problems proactively and effectively.
- Tact, diplomacy, and maturity in relating and interacting with people at all levels.
- Completion of a Criminal Records Declaration regarding any unspent convictions.
- Potential need for a basic DBS check, Adverse Finance and ID check for roles in finance, HR, Legal, IT, or senior management.
