About the Role
Drive testing and deliver quality software to digital services and platforms within the Powster ReactJS/NodeJS/AWS technical stack. This role offers a chance to challenge and develop QA skills on projects for major clients in the movie and music industries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases to identify defects.
- Design, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, document test results, and report defects.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new testing tools and methodologies.
- Set up and manage test environments for accurate and efficient testing.
- Analyze test failures, providing detailed documentation and reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Test Engineer in an AGILE software delivery environment.
- Full ownership of QA within the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including test planning and comprehensive mobile, tablet, and desktop QA coverage of web-based applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and provide solutions.
- High attention to detail to identify potential issues and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
